Physics Week Ahead: 10/16-10/20

October14

This week we will wrap up our study of Acceleration due to Gravity. You will have the opportunity to create a graphic organizer early in the week to help you organize the material. We will take our final test for this grading period on Wednesday. Next up on our agenda will be Newton’s Law of Universal Gravitation. Sir Issac Newton was quite the guy. He had his hand in a lot of scientific principles and discoveries and along the way developed the beloved subject of Calculus and a few laws of motion we like to test out while driving. I’ll save the best pickup line you have ever heard for later.

Extra Problems for Free Fall Test will be Thursday 7:40am in my room. Come one Come ALL

PHYSICS Week Ahead: 10/2-10/6

September29

This week we will begin our study of acceleration due to gravity or free fall. We will begin our study by modeling experiments Galileo performed when he was attempting to explain gravity. The lab Testing Galileo’s Hypothesis will be due Friday at the start of your class period. You will have time in class on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. If you do not finish or you are not in class, you should come in during enrichment on Thursday or Friday to complete your trials.
If you did not do well on the last test, you should come in during enrichment or before school and review your test with my test and ask questions. I will be available during those times.

**Free Fall notes from playlist are due Thursday. Look back to last Friday for the link
